New book identifies 'demand creation' as breakthrough business process
Book Press Releases
Bust the Silos by Hunter Hastings and Jeff Saperstein argues that demand creation will dictate growth in the 21st century

MILL VALLEY, Calif. (MMD Newswire) February 8, 2010 -- Bust the Silos: Opening Your Organization for Growth by Hunter Hastings and Jeff Saperstein offers a new concept for business growth in today's global economy. Their new concept is called "demand creation," which is the design of new organizational structures and processes to make managing the demand of a product or service a process-based, predictable and repeatable science.

The book aims to present both a conceptual framework and real world examples of how to harness the capabilities of new productivity tools with new business processes for success. Hastings and Saperstein argue that forward thinking organizations must work differently: in roles, not just jobs; in new forms of multifunctional teams, not just departments; in networks, not just rigid structures; in listening to escalate responsiveness, not just communicating to get the message across.

"There is no limit to the creative output of a new generation and their 21st century infrastructure of collaborative networking," Hastings says. "Our task as organizers of this economy is to turn loose this collaborative energy so they may create customer centric organizations and services we cannot even conceive."

According to the authors, the productivity revolution of the last 25 years occurred in the organization of the supply chain. However, the next 25 years will be focused on organizing the demand chain to ensure predictable, sustainable, profitable, long-term growth for global corporations. Hastings and Saperstein contend that smart companies will develop new capabilities to harness the demand creation process to maximize profits and achieve sustainable growth.

Bust the Silos: Opening Your Organization for Growth is available for sale online at Amazon.com and through additional wholesale and retail channels worldwide.

Marilyn Randall - Author/Illustrator Signs With Xlibris To Publish Her newest Book
Book Press Releases
Whidbey Island - Washington State (MMD Newswire) February 4, 2010 -- Marilyn Randall, author and illustrator of children's books and the adult poetry book My Heart And Soul, announced today that she has signed with the Xlibris Corporation a publishing company devoted to quality standards in the publishing industry, to publish her newest book, which will be available in print later this spring. Her newest book titled QUICKSAND is a fiction; a story of a senior, interracial couple who have entered into a love relationship after meeting online. It is a powerful book of deeply devoted love, hardships directly affecting interracial couples, family prejudices and cultural differences. She has woven the story beautifully with powerful emotion by inserting her amazing poetry and prose throughout the book. Ms. Randall is fast becoming known for her ability to take us into the emotional issues faced today by a society who still suffers from prejudices and bigotry. She takes us to the heart of these issues as she weaves this story around true to life senior characters beginning their life together in this new and unusual way while facing the problems still suffered in today's society.

Her earlier book, My Heart And Soul , as well as the five previously published children's books she has written and illustrated have been highly successful and she is developing a loyal and devoted following for her work. The titles of her children's books which are available now on her website www.marilynrandall.com are: For Faithful Friends, Best Of Best Friends, Inside Out, A Hard Nut To Crack and Elmer The Christmas Elf. Her newest and sixth children's book, Share From The Heart is due out in April of 2010.

In Her own words, Ms. Randall talks about her newest book with passion for what she has created. "I am a widowed senior and have experienced many of the difficulties the characters in my latest book are faced with so I write from first hand knowledge of the problems many of us are dealing with today. I have been more than disappointed to experience some of the bigotry and prejudices, which today's world is still dealing with. In some respects society has not progressed beyond the humiliating era of the segregation we experienced forty years ago. I hope this story will enlighten some people and help them to have a better understanding of the destruction their attitudes are creating for society as a whole. Anger, temper, love, passion, emotional abuse, lust, compassion, devotion and loyalty are all emotions which are within the readers grasp as they become involved in the issues which the created characters are dealing with in this newest book titled QUICKSAND."

Marilyn Randall continues to write from the comfort of her residence located on the beautiful and serene Whidbey Island, near Seattle in Washington State. For more information about her life or her books you can visit her website www.marilynrandall.com . MAKE THAT A TABLE FOR SEVEN A GRIZZLY FAMILY STORY: FERBIE AND PEPPIE FIND A HOME

ABOUT THE BOOK:

Jacksonville, FL (MMD Newswire) January 29, 2010 -- Storm and Angie Davis had the amazing privilege of welcoming two young teenage children into our home, and becoming their guardians. The kids had been in and out of our home for a couple of years as friends of their 3 children. Storm was the boy's football coach as well. On a Christmas night, six years ago, Angie received a call. On the other end of the phone was one of the children. There was no longer a place for them with their family and they had nowhere to go. They called asking her, "Did you mean it when you said we could stay with you?" The response was, "Yes, you can stay as long as you like."

Make That a Table for Seven is the story of the journey and transformation of the Davis family. It is set as a children's book with black bears and grizzly bears representing the characters. Ferbie and Peppie have been left alone in the woods without a family. Ferbie gathers his courage and knocks on the door of the Grizzly family. The door opens and a new family is born. It is a true story of rescue and redemption. It is a story that spans all emotions and ages.

New book offers scientific reasoning for UFO technology
Book Press Releases
Field Propulsion by Control of Gravity by Stoyan Sarg, Ph.D. explains a new theory of propulsion in an effort to explain the reported movements of unidentified aircraft

TORONTO (MMD Newswire) January 28, 2010 -- Field Propulsion by Control of Gravity: Theory and Experiments by Stoyan Sarg, Ph.D. seeks to explain the science behind a propulsion system that would be consistent with the movements and appearance often attributed to UFOs.

According to Sarg, the nature of UFO phenomena is still considered a mystery because the observed and registered physical effects are not explainable from the point of view of modern physics. Citing overwhelming evidence, Sarg contends that the scientific community should reconsider previously held assumptions about gravity and propulsion as related to flight. With that in mind, Sarg presents a theory called "Basic Structures of Matter - Supergravitation Unified Theory," which predicts an effect called stimulated anomalous reaction to gravity. It is based on a process that invokes quantum mechanical interactions between oscillating ion-electron pairs and the space-time continuum. According to Sarg, the effect could lead to development of a new propulsion system for a spacecraft.

"Serious inquiry into UFO subject matter is not an agenda in the scientific community despite the significant database of observations and recorded physical data," he says. "We can't simply ignore the evidence because the phenomenon seems to contradict the laws of physics. Instead, some adopted postulates should be revised."

The book is a blend of theoretical analysis, conclusions and experiments related to new technologies that could power and guide a spacecraft. Featuring illustrations and designs, the book seeks to demonstrate the feasibility of the predicted propulsion method and offers a practical foundation for future research.

Field Propulsion by Control of Gravity: Theory and Experiments is available for sale online at Amazon.com, and through additional wholesale and retail channels worldwide.

About the Author
Stoyan Sarg, Ph.D. is a scientist, researcher and writer presently at York University in Toronto. Born in Bulgaria, Sarg earned a degree in engineering and holds a Ph.D. in physics. His career began with space research projects coordinated by the former Soviet Union for the international program Intercosmos. He immigrated to Canada in 1991 and later became involved in projects for the Canadian Space Agency. Today, Sarg is focused on his role as an educator and author.
