"Peter is a strong name and a name that represents kindness to me and this was the perfect name for this dragon fellow who seems to be ferocious and fierce yet turns out to be kind and compassionate. He is an exciting fellow and causes great concern when two brothers are startled by his presence on their way home late one evening. The story teaches us that when we can overcome differences and learn to accept those differences instead of rejecting them out of fear, we can accomplish many wonderful things. In Peter's case, he is rewarded with something he has longed for all of his life and the readers are treated to getting to know that there can be unexpected rewards for showing kindness and compassion even when differences seem to be insurmountable."
