Ms. Randall creates stories that have moral and valuable life lessons for children and this one proves to be no different. Done in the poetry format for the infant to age eight, age group, she brings the characters to life with her unique artistic style allowing the reader to see the story as it unfolds. Xlibris is the publisher and Share From The Heart can be found at Xlibris.com and will be available at several online bookstores in the near future.

SHARE FROM THE HEART joins the growing list of children's books written and illustrated by this author, being number six on the list. BEST OF BEST FRIENDS, FOR FAITHFUL FRIENDS, INSIDE OUT, A HARD NUT TO CRACK and ELMER THE CHRISTMAS ELF are the titles of her earlier books and all of them can be found at her website www.marilynrandall.com.

In her own words, Marilyn speaks about this newest story and how she came up with the name Peter for the dragon. "Peter is a strong name and a name that represents kindness to me and this was the perfect name for this dragon fellow who seems to be ferocious and fierce yet turns out to be kind and compassionate. He is an exciting fellow and causes great concern when two brothers are startled by his presence on their way home late one evening. The story teaches us that when we can overcome differences and learn to accept those differences instead of rejecting them out of fear, we can accomplish many wonderful things. In Peter's case, he is rewarded with something he has longed for all of his life and the readers are treated to getting to know that there can be unexpected rewards for showing kindness and compassion even when differences seem to be insurmountable."

Ms. Randall is a former art director in the printing industry. She resides on Whidbey Island, near Seattle, in Washington State and considers her home to be the perfect serene environment needed to write and illustrate the characters she creates. She is now working on her seventh children's books, which she expects will be released in the summer of 2010. She is available for book signings and interviews and can be reached through her website at www.marilynrandall.com.
